STATE ROUTE 99 AT THE ON AND OFF-RAMPS

AT THE JUNCTION OF STATE ROUTE 59/

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. WAY IN MERCED COUNTY



Merced County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the on and off-ramps on State Route 99 (SR-99) at the junction of SR-59/Martin Luther King Jr. Way; crews will also close the #2 (right) lane on northbound SR-99 at the junction of SR-59/Martin Luther King Jr. Way. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time.



Work will occur on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, through Friday, March 19, 2010, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.



Crews will work on the electrical and ITS elements in this location.



Motorists should expect 5 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.



This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.



The contractor for this $1.5 million project is Richard A. Heaps Electrical Incorporated of Sacramento, CA.
