SOUTHBOUND STATE ROUTE 99 FROM STATE ROUTE 219/KIERNAN AVENUE TO HAMMETT ROAD IN STANISLAUS COUNTY

Stanislaus County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the #3 (right) lane on southbound State Route 99 (SR-99) from SR-219/Kiernan Avenue to Hammett Road.

Work will occur beginning Monday, May 2, 2011, through Wednesday, May 4, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Crews will remove debris in this location.

Motorists should expect 20 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

NORTHBOUND STATE ROUTE 99 IN LODI

Lodi - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the northbound off-ramps to Harney Lane and the South Lodi overcrossing from State Route 99.

Work will begin on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, through Friday, May 6, 2011, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Crews will repair the pavement in this location.

Merced County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close southbound State Route 99 (SR-99) from 16th Street to the junction of SR-59/SR-140. Crews will also close the southbound 16th Street on-ramp.

Crews are constructing a bridge in this area.

Work will begin on Monday, May 2, 2011, through Wednesday, May 4, 2011, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

INTERSTATE 5 FROM HAMMER LANE TO THE SAN JOAQUIN/SACRAMENTO COUNTY LINE IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will replace slabs on Interstate 5 (I-5) from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. Work will occur as follows:

• The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on southbound I-5 from State Route (SR-12) to Hammer Lane will close beginning Sunday, May 1, 2011, through Friday, May 6, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

• The #1 (left) and #3 (right) lanes on southbound I-5 from SR-12 to Eight Mile Road will alternately close beginning Monday, May 2, 2011, through Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.;

• The southbound on and off-ramps on I-5 between SR-12 and Hammer Lane will alternately close beginning Sunday, May 1, 2011, through Friday, May 6, 2011, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.; and

• The southbound and northbound on and off-ramps on I-5 between SR-12 and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line will alternately close beginning Sunday, May 1, 2011, through Friday, May 6, 2011, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

Stockton - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the median, left shoulder, #1 (left), #2 (middle left) and #3 (middle right) lanes on eastbound State Route 4 (Cross-town Freeway) from Stanislaus Street to Center Street and the eastbound on-ramp from El Dorado Street.

Work will occur on Sunday, May 1, 2011, from 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Crews will replace the overhead signs in this location.

Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

FULL HIGHWAY CLOSURE STATE ROUTE 4 FROM THE SAN JOAQUIN/CONTRA COSTA COUNTY LINE TO BACON ISLAND ROAD IN SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will install rumble strip on State Route 4 (SR-4) from the San Joaquin/Contra Costa County line to Roberts Island Road. Work will occur as follows:

• Crews will perform one-way traffic control on SR-4 from the San Joaquin/Contra Costa County line to Bacon Island Road/Trapper Road beginning Tuesday, May 3, 2011, through Friday, May 6, 2011, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

• SR-4 from Tracy Boulevard to Bacon Island Road/Trapper Road will close beginning Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 5:00 a.m.; and

• SR-4 from Tracy Boulevard to the San Joaquin/Contra Costa County line at the Old River Bridge will close beginning Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. until Friday, May 6, 2011, at 5:00 a.m.

The detour for Wednesday night is:

• Eastbound:
o SR-4 to southbound Tracy Boulevard
o South on Tracy Boulevard to Howard Road
o East on Howard Road to Roberts Road
o North on Roberts Road to SR-4
• Westbound:
o SR-4 to southbound Roberts Road
o South on Roberts Road to Howard Road
o West on Howard Road to Tracy Boulevard
o North on Tracy Boulevard to SR-4

The detour for Thursday night is:

• Eastbound:
o SR-4 to Byron Highway

SONORA PASS (STATE ROUTE 108) OPEN TO KENNEDY MEADOWS

Sonora Pass in Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has removed the snow, cleared the debris and made the necessary repairs to open State Route 108/Sonora Pass to Kennedy Meadows on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.

The diligent work of Caltrans crews enabled the opening of this section of the pass in time for the beginning of fishing season on Saturday, April 30, 2011.

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will replace slabs on southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) from Eight Mile Road to State Route (SR-12). Work will occur as follows:

• The #1 (left) lane on southbound I-5 from SR-12 to Eight Mile Road will close beginning Monday, April 25, 2011, through Friday, April 29, 2011, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.;

• The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on southbound I-5 from SR-12 to Eight Mile Road will close beginning Monday, April 25, 2011, through Friday, April 29, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.; and

• The southbound connector ramps from I-5 to eastbound and westbound SR-12 will alternately close beginning Monday, April 25, 2011, through Friday, April 29, 2011, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

Work will occur on Saturday, April 30, 2011, from 5:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Crews will replace the overhead signs in this location.
