TRAFFIC ADVISORY
northbound State Route 99 at the mokelumne River Bridge
near lodi in san joaquin COUNTY

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be closing lanes on northbound State Route 99 (SR-99) at the Mokelumne River Bridge (just north of the Turner Road overcrossing) near Lodi. One lane will be kept open at all times. The northbound Turner Road/Cherokee Lane on-ramp will also be closed.

Work will begin on Friday, September 19, 2008, at 10:00 p.m. and continue until Monday, September 22, 2008, at 5:00 a.m.

Crews will be grinding out the existing pavement and replacing it with polyester concrete.

Motorists should expect delays. Please use Interstate 5 via westbound SR-12 and avoid the area if possible. Alternate routes should be taken.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The contractor for this $688,300 project is Penhall Company of San Leandro, CA.
