Roadwork for the week of 7/12/09 – 7/18/09 for San Joaquin County

Interstate 5 between Anderson Street and State Route 4 (Crosstown Freeway) in Stockton - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be treating the bridge decks on Interstate 5 (I-5) between the Anderson Street undercrossing and the State Route 4 (SR-4) (Crosstown Freeway) beginning on Monday, July 13, 2009, through Saturday, July 18, 2009. Work will occur as follows:

· The southbound SR-4 (Charter Way) off-ramp will close Monday, July 13, 2009, through Saturday, July 18, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left) and #2 (left middle) lanes on northbound I-5 between the Anderson Street undercrossing and SR-4 (Crosstown Freeway) will close Monday, July 13, 2009, through Saturday, July 18, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left) and #2 (left middle) lanes on southbound I-5 between the Anderson Street undercrossing and SR-4 (Charter Way) will close Monday, July 13, 2009, through Saturday, July 18, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The southbound connector ramp to eastbound SR-4 (Crosstown Freeway) will close Tuesday, July 14, 2009, through Saturday, July 18, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

Motorists can expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

Interstate 5 in Stockton - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be treating the bridge decks on northbound and southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) on Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Friday, July 17, 2009. No two consecutive on or off-ramps will be closed at the same time. Work will occur as follows:

· The northbound I-5 off-ramp to Pershing Avenue will close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Friday, July 16, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The Pershing Avenue on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Tuesday, July 14, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The southbound I-5 off-ramp to Pershing Avenue will close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Thursday, July 16, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The northbound I-5 off-ramp to Monte Diablo Avenue will close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Thursday, July 16, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left), #2 (left middle) #3 (right middle) and #4 (right) lanes and the right shoulder on northbound I-5 between the Buena Vista Avenue undercrossing and the Carlton Avenue undercrossing will alternately close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Thursday, July 16, 2009, beginning at 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left), #2 (left middle) and #3 (right middle) lanes on northbound I-5 between the Fourteen Mile Slough and the Hammer Lane undercrossing will close Sunday, July 12, 2009 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday, July 13, 2009 at 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left), #2 (middle), #3 (right) lanes and the right and left shoulder on southbound I-5 between the Fourteen Mile Slough and the Hammer Lane undercrossing will alternately close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Friday, July 17, 2009, beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left), #2 (right) lanes and the right shoulder on northbound I-5 at the Barber Road undercrossing will alternately close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Friday, July 17, 2009, beginning at 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

· The #1 (left), #2 (right) lanes and the left and right shoulder on southbound I-5 at the Barber Road undercrossing will alternately close Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Thursday, July 17, 2009, beginning at 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.;

Motorists can expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. Trucks are advised to use SR-99 where possible.

Northbound Interstate 5 from Lathrop Road to Eighth Street in San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be paving on northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) from Lathrop Road to Eighth Street.

State Route 88 between Disch Road and the junction of State Route 12 in San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will alternately close the east and westbound lanes of State Route 88 (SR-88) between the junction of SR-12 and Disch Road for paving.

Work will occur Sunday, July 12, 2009, through Wednesday, July 15, 2009, beginning 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
