Roadwork for the week of 4/19/09 – 4/25/09 for Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, & Tuolumne Counties

State Route 88 from the Carson Pass Summit to the Alpine/Amador County line in Alpine County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing intermittent one-way traffic control on State Route 88 from the Carson Pass Summit to the Alpine/Amador County line.

Work will begin on Monday, April 20, 2009, through Friday, April 24, 2009, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

State Route 4 from Rolleri Bypass Road to Six Mile Creek/Six Mile Road in Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will alternately the left shoulder, the #1 (left) and the #2 (right) lanes on State Route 4 from Rolleri Bypass Road to Six Mile Creek/Six Mile Road.

Work will begin on Monday, April 20, 2009, through Friday, April 24, 2009, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Crews will be doing road construction in this location.

Motorist can expect 5 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather and wind conditions.

The contractor for this $61.5 million project is Teichert Construction of Stockton, CA. The Angels Camp Bypass project will construct a two-lane access controlled expressway on a new alignment from the north junction of SR-4 and SR-49 to a point of SR-4 approximately 0.6 miles east of Rolleri Bypass Road.
