State Route 88 about 6 miles east of Kirkwood Meadows Drive in Alpine County – Beginning on Monday, June 8, 2009, through Friday, June 12, 2009, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., motorists should expect one hour delays on State Route 88 at Red Lake Grade, about 6 miles east of Kirkwood Meadows Drive. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be working to repair the rock slope at this location. The road will be opened to traffic as quickly as possible.
